The assessment is usually made up of an on-line test, either a project or culinary challenge or synoptic project, a professional observation and a professional discussion. Once the end-point organisation has completed the assessments and tests then the award will be given. English and math will also be required and has to be achieved before the apprentice can be passed through the Gateway and into their end-point-assessment. </p> <p>Both require the apprentice to be employed and the teaching may be completed on the employer premises or off-site, depending on the apprenticeship requirements and employer preference. </p></div></div></div></div></div>
